Poetry on the move: What Shall I Wear To Bed Tonight ? Anais Anais, Of Course.

I am in a dream
Sitting on a ferry
I saw you from the distance
You joined the crowd

I want to look at you
To see you closer
To be a fly on a wall

You walked up to a woman
And took her hand
Began walking towards me
But I wasn't there
It was like I was watching
A moving picture

You motioned in my direction
As if signalling
that you are with her
Raising your hand and hers
To draw my attention

I saw it

She is very beautiful
Longish hair falling
To her arms
She looks at me
And smiles to my face

When I laid down in my bed
On Sunday afternoon
I didn't know what to make of it

Did you want to be
With her?
Who was she?

I drew Lovers Tarot Card
And heard Rumi's whisper:
“Lovers don’t finally
Meet somewhere.
They’re in each other
All along.”

Last evening
I wanted to forget you
I deleted all messages
And your contact
But you have never left my mind

This separation
Is just a lie
I can hear you
Talking to me all the time
Miles away

I bought Anais Anais perfume

I will wear it to bed
with you tonight
I want to kiss
with our lips
To feel your hair
Caressing my face
When you lean towards me

I don't want
Just any penis
Only you can soothe me

When I see your name
On my phone screen
The earth moves
